The Case of the Chemical Syndicate
Bill Finger and Bob Kane
Murdered chemical tycoons, business betrayals, and Bruce Wayne in a truly horrible yellow plaid suit are in store for us here in Batman's (or Bat-Man's) earliest adventure. Apparently in 1939 it was perfectly acceptable to have the Commissioner's rich, lazy friend show up to a murder investigation, but it's cool. What is not cool is Wayne's deplorable since of fashion. Seriously.
But hey, for a six page story from 70 years ago, its not bad at all. Bruce Wayne and Commissioner Gordon are both present from the start, and even though the costume is not quite right, it's good times.
